Michael R. Parker
Mr. Parker graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s degree in History. Afterward, he continued on to study law at The University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he was a member of Law Review, graduated with high honors, and received the Chancellor’s award for a nearly perfect GPA. He is also a member of the Order of the Coif, awarded nationally to law graduates in the top 10% of their class.
Mr. Parker is licensed to practice law in California state and federal courts. Mr. Parker has significant legal experience in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, and catastrophic injury. Over his career Mr. Parker has secured tens of millions of dollars of judgments, settlements, and jury verdicts for his clients in personal injury and wrongful death cases. These cases ranged from simple car accidents to catastrophic injuries to complex death cases with millions of dollars in damages. Recently, Mr. Parker was lead counsel in a nationally covered free speech case that was litigated in the Texas Supreme Court. He was quoted in several newspapers including the Texas Tribune and the Houston Chronicle.
In addition to his success as a litigator, Mr. Parker has also authored several articles on criminal and environmental law that have been published in nationally distributed journals. After writing an article about sexting, his article was presented to the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law by Dr. James Peykanu.
Mr. Parker enjoys spending time with his family including his dog. He also holds a black belt in kickboxing, is a reserve Sheriff’s deputy, and has a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
