James DeBarge Involved in Hit-and-Run Car Accident

On April 24, 2017, James DeBarge, ex-husband of Janet Jackson, was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Los Angeles.Dash cam footage from the victim’s vehicle shows DeBarge attempting to cut across traffic in his Mercedes station wagon, colliding head-on with a Chevy Volt. After the collision, DeBarge left the scene without providing assistance or contact information. The victim, represented by attorney Michael Parker, reported approximately $6,000 in damages and has been unable to locate DeBarge for compensation. Investigations suggest that DeBarge may not have had insurance at the time of the accident.
