Billy Paredes
Billy Paredes is a trial attorney at M.R. Parker Law. Mr. Paredes has extensive prelitigation and litigation experience in personal injury law. At M.R. Parker Law, Mr. Paredes handles law and motion, oral arguments, discovery, depositions, and trial work. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Mr. Paredes graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2018. After graduating from UCLA, Billy worked as a case manager at a high-volume personal injury law firm from 2018 to 2020. He then attended Southwestern Law School, completing the SCALE Accelerated Two-Year Program in 2022.
During law school, Mr. Paredes was a Trial Advocacy Honors Program Top 16 Advocate, a member of the Consumer Law Society, and the President of the Christian Legal Society. Mr. Paredes also received high honors in many of his classes and was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. Additionally, Mr. Paredes prosecuted cases for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office as a certified law clerk during law school.
Mr. Paredes is a member of the Mexican American Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in California and federal courts.
In his spare time, Mr. Paredes enjoys Brazilian jiu jitsu, drumming, and spending quality time with his wife Stephanie and their dogs Teemu and Chico.
